At this year’s #secondstowow & Location Award 2025 in Hanover, Mandy & Ben Schobel, known as the Alpha Couple, provided one of the emotional highlights of the event. In their workshop ‘Success through connection – the game changer of humanity’, they not only gave participants insights into their key art performance, but also allowed the audience to actively experience what real connection means.
From the stage straight to the heart
Mandy & Ben captivated their audience within the first few minutes. Authentic, energetic and with palpable passion, they spoke and sang about why humanity is the decisive factor for sustainable success – in business as in life.
But that wasn’t all: in the subsequent workshop, participants were able to experience for themselves how quickly and deeply human connections can develop. The task: to establish a connection with a complete stranger in just three minutes.
What initially sounded like a challenge turned into a real WOW moment. The atmosphere in the room changed noticeably – from curious reserve to open, honest encounters. There was laughter, amazement and, in some cases, moved silence.

Many participants described the exercise as ‘transformative’ and ‘surprisingly intense.’ The Schobels managed to combine theory and practice in a unique way and make the abstract concept of humanity tangible.
With their key art performance, the two impressively demonstrated that true enthusiasm and lasting success begin where we truly encounter each other – from person to person.
