Who is Miriam Meckel?
After studying journalism, sinology, political science, and law in Münster and Taipei, Miriam Meckel began her career as a journalist at ARD, VOX, and RTL. At the age of 32, she became the youngest professor at a German university. As government spokesperson for North Rhine-Westphalia, she combined science and politics before founding “ada,” a platform that redefines digital education and innovative thinking across industry boundaries.
Her topics range from technological disruption and ethical issues of digitalization to the psychological and social consequences of digital change. She never remains on the surface, but combines sound research with a keen sense of cultural and political contexts.
