Who Is Nabeela Elsayed?

Nabeela Elsayed is not only a seasoned executive but also a true architect of sustainable change. As the former Chief Operations Officer of Walmart Canada, she was responsible for over 400 stores, 100,000 employees, and 1.5 million customers daily. Her leadership journey includes key roles at IKEA and Starbucks, as well as board memberships at TaskRabbit, the Miracle Foundation, and the National Council of Canadian Muslims.

She has been recognized globally, including being named one of Canada’s Top 50 Executives, one of the Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada, and one of the Top 100 Global HR Leaders.

Nabeela is the founder of MuslimHaqq, an initiative that promotes understanding and combats systemic Islamophobia. She also co-founded Riple, a global platform reshaping the conversation around mental well-being. As a certified Executive Coach and a member of the Marshall Goldsmith 100 Coaches, she also teaches future board members at Competent Boards, focusing on responsible corporate governance.
